How a Pawn Loan Works

A pawn loan is a short-term, collateral-backed cash loan. You bring in an item of value; we appraise it, make you a cash offer, and hold the item while you repay the loan principal plus a state-regulated service fee. Florida pawn loan terms are 30 days, renewable. There is no credit check, and your credit score is never affected. If you cannot repay, you forfeit the collateral — there is no further debt collection and no impact on your credit.

Both locations are family-owned, third-generation, and have been in continuous operation for over 30 years. Each store carries the same core services – cash loans, top-dollar buying, free appraisals – and our West Park location adds a fully FFL-licensed firearms department.

Why two stores, not five?

We made a decision early on not to franchise or expand into a regional chain. Instead, we run two stores that we ourselves stand behind every day. Three generations of pawnbrokers – George, Jorge, and Alex – sit at one of these two counters most days. That continuity is why our customers come back year after year, and why our offers are honest: we will see you again, often within weeks.

Miami Gardens – Detailed Service Area

West Park – Detailed Service Area

Our West Park store at 2031 S State Rd 7, Suite A&B serves: West Park (immediate), Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Pembroke Park, Miramar, Hallandale Beach, Dania Beach, Carver Ranches, Lake Forest, Davie, southern Fort Lauderdale, and adjacent Broward neighborhoods. State Road 7 (US-441) runs the length of Broward and is one of the busiest commercial corridors in the county – drive-by and walk-in traffic is excellent.

This is also our FFL-licensed firearms location. We sell, buy, transfer, and pawn handguns, rifles, shotguns, and ammunition under federal ATF licensing. Licensing & Compliance

Advantage Pawn & Loan is licensed under Florida Statutes Chapter 539 (Pawnbroking) and federal ATF regulations (West Park firearms only). All loans are reported to the local police department in compliance with state law. Customers are required to present valid government photo ID for every transaction.
